Conducted under Dr. Purvi Pujari at DY Patil University, this study applies a Hedonic Pricing Model to estimate how exposure to urban flood risk is capitalised into Mumbai residential property values.
Property attributes, locational characteristics, and flood-incidence data are combined so that the flood-risk coefficient can be isolated from other price determinants — giving an implicit market price for climate vulnerability in one of the world's densest coastal cities.
